Alex Shekarchian

Alex Shekarchian, Senior Associate

Alex Shekarchian’s passion for law was ignited at age nine, inspired by his aunt, who was studying for the bar exam at the time. Continuing through adolescence, he began legal work at the age of 14, working for Jim Perzik, then attorney for the Buss family. Inspired by his aunt’s long-standing career in Workers’ Compensation and guided by various mentors, Alex specialized in this dynamic area, appreciating its complexity and the opportunity to help clients through challenging claims.

Beyond Workers’ Compensation, Alex has cultivated diverse skills that enhance his approach to legal practice. He is an experienced talent manager, producer, and law instructor, and is also a certified California mediator. Having worked with high-profile talent as a producer in fast-paced creative industries has honed his interpersonal skills, keen observation, and ability to read between the lines—traits that serve him well during depositions, analyzing surveillance, or coordinating with vendors and experts. Teaching law has strengthened his ability to simplify complex legal concepts and communicate effectively, while his mediation training sharpened his focus on reaching practical, cost-effective settlements, enabling him to resolve cases efficiently with strategic insight.

As an attorney, Alex adopts a strategic and storytelling-oriented approach to litigation. His experience in talent management, law instruction, and mediation enhances his ability to communicate clearly, analyze nuanced situations, and negotiate effectively. He prides himself on understanding the full story behind each case, balancing compassion with a sharp focus on achieving efficient, fair resolutions. His keen observation skills and interpersonal talents enable him to anticipate challenges, analyze case value accurately, and drive early, favorable outcomes for clients.

Born and raised in California, Alex currently resides in the Los Angeles area, where he actively supports charitable causes related to domestic violence, veterans, and mental health. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting creative talents as a producer and talent manager, exploring arts and culture and engaging with his community through shared experiences. His broad interests and commitment to service reflect his dedication to making a positive impact both professionally and personally.
