Jason Coker, senior Associate

The idea of combining critical, analytical thinking and advocating on behalf of clients in complex litigation inspired Jason to pursue a career as an attorney. During his undergraduate degree, he took courses in advocacy and argumentation, and developed a passion for structured analysis to organize negotiation strategies which lent itself to the field of law. Although logical analysis of legal facts can be a little cold, Jason has also developed a reputation of having productive working relationships with all parties involved in the litigation process, creating a distinct advantage in his cases, facilitating favorable resolutions. Initially trained by an independent hearing representative in Workers’ Compensation defense, Jason began his career as support staff for a small group of three hearing representatives, transcribing their dictations. After preparing billing invoices, legal documents and exhibits, he had the opportunity to become a hearing representative himself, making appearances at the WCAB. These experiences give him a unique perspective in the field. He is committed to evaluating each case based on the merits and identifying significant facts to develop a plan of action to resolve legal issues as efficiently as possible.

Born and raised along the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains, Southern California has always been Jason’s home. He loves the flexibility of having mountains, desert and beach all within an hour, which is perfectly suited to his love of weekend camping getaways. Outside of work, he and his family are very involved in their church congregation and the Cub Scouts, and he enjoys working on DIY projects in his spare time.
