Michael J. Gaston, Associate
Michael Gaston brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to his practice. Raised as a first-generation Hispanic child in Southern California, Michael's journey into law was inspired by his deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by his family. Initially pursuing a career in education as a junior high teacher, he realized he could better serve his family and community by entering the legal profession. Encouraged by a close friend who owned a workers' comp firm, Michael worked alongside him for 18 months before attending law school, solidifying his passion for this area of law.
As an attorney, Michael is known for his strategic problem-solving approach, which has led to exceptional results for his clients. Drawing on skills honed through nine years of service in the Navy and nine years as an educator, he excels in communication and advocacy, effectively conveying complex issues to judges and opposing counsel. Michael approaches each new case with enthusiasm, meticulously identifying potential issues to streamline the discovery and litigation process, enabling faster resolutions and elevating the level of service he provides to his clients.
Outside of his legal practice, Michael is deeply passionate about family and faith. He cherishes the time he spends with his loved ones, particularly after his experiences in the military. An avid player of Dungeons and Dragons, he enjoys engaging in creative storytelling and strategic gameplay. Additionally, Michael is actively involved in his community, volunteering at his church and previously teaching Catechism to adults. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from California State University, Fullerton, and a JD from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.
