Michelle Leigh Kral, Senior Associate
A thorough attorney, Michelle Kral zealously advocates for clients in every aspect of a case. After working in accounting for several years post college, Michelle craved a new challenge and decided to indulge her passion for the law. It was when she was working at Mullen and Filippi that she made the connection to work within Workers’ Compensation. She briefly did personal injury and applicants work, which gave her insight into how applicants and applicant attorneys approach cases. She uses this background to inform how she approaches cases on the defense side. Michelle finds new cases exciting: they are puzzles filled with facts and parties involved that make each case different. She works to figure out how the defense will approach the case at hand and puts all the pieces together to efficiently settle the case for clients.
Michelle is originally from the Sacramento area where she lived until an opportunity took her to the Bay Area. She has been the defense chair for the Santa Clara Workers Comp Attorney Association for two years. Outside of work, her passion lies in her dog Lola.
