We want to assure you, as our dedicated clients, that Karlin, Hiura & LaSota is prepared to work uninterrupted throughout the duration of the coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. Karlin, Hiura & LaSota has a comprehensive business contingency plan in place that ensures our firm’s continued operation and continued service to our clients. We are already equipped to work remotely in a technologically secure environment, and thus, we will continue to deliver the same first class legal service that you have come to expect.  
 
It is our hope that the crisis will not last long, but regardless of how long it lasts, we have sufficient resources to assist you while simultaneously keeping our employees safe. The courts have announced plans to modify their calendar to align with the recent federal mandates.  We expect cases to be handled remotely via court call, teleconference and videoconference with the exception of trials with ongoing testimony and expedited hearings. Our firm already has the capability to utilize all three technologies and are prepared to transition into the future.
