Simon S. Leo, Senior Associate

It was the belief that each side deserves to be heard with the best representation that inspired Simon Leo to become an attorney. He uses his ability to see all the points of view to determine how to get the best results for the client. Simon has always had an interest in medicine and the sciences, so Workers’ Compensation was a natural career choice to pair these interests. He sees each new case as a puzzle, reviewing past events to uncover what really happened. He uses this information to plan a strategy to move a case towards a quick and advantageous conclusion, and he works to keep the client informed every step of the way.

His father – a Chinese immigrant – owned and operated a Chinese restaurant in Logan, Utah, seeing an opportunity when there were no other Chinese restaurants in the town. Simon grew up working in this restaurant seeing all the hard work and determination needed to succeed, especially as a first generation American. Through this, his parents promised Simon that he could go to any college he wished which led Simon to California, and he never left. His background has instilled in Simon an understanding of the difficulties that all employers have in maintaining a business and has created his strong work ethic. Outside of work, Simon loves to cook and travel, and spend as much time as possible with his family and his rescue dog Meatball.
